Vienna, VA - July 2, 2010 - MicroTech, a leading technology systems integrator, has been awarded a 3-year U.S. Air Force CAAS III contract - Installation Geospatial Information and Systems (IGI&S) Support - with a total value of $14.2 Million. The contract provides technical support to the Directorate of Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters, Air Combat Command (ACC), in the development and implementation of the IGI&S program within the Central Command, Southern Command, and Africa Command. The contract will provide jobs for up-to-38 fulltime personnel.

The ACC Contracted Advisory and Assistance Services (CAAS) III is a five-year, multiple award, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract vehicle for all organizations within the Air Combat Command.

The IGI&S contract supports the Theater Battle Management Core System – User Level (TBMCS-UL), including Emergency Management, the Intelligence Community, Security Forces and Airfield Management, providing life-cycle support for a robust variety of data processing activities, analysis, hardware platforms, peripheral products and software applications.
Contracted work requirements take place at 15 military bases around the country; in California, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
MicroTech is partnering with AECOM - a Fortune 500 global provider of professional technical and management support services to the government. The contract calls for a one year base, plus two option years.
